Koncho&Co Khvanchkara 2023

Khvanchkara is an appellation from the Georgian region of Racha. Khvanchkara is semi-sweet and is made from Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli grapes. A classic in former Soviet countries. Very unknown and also very unusual in Netherlands.

A light red wine with sweet juice that reminds of strawberry, plum and pomegranate. Not very alcoholic and not heavy either.

Combine with a clove cheese for example or experiment with a Moroccan tajine with plums and has el ranout.
