Purcari 1827 Merlot

Merlot de Purcari – like velvet: soft to the touch and complex structure.

The ruby-red color is characterized by subtle notes of red fruits. The taste is velvety with a pleasant tartness, while shades of oak, mulberry and rose emphasize the long aftertaste.

Made from hand-picked and hand-selected grapes using traditional methods. Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.

Merlot goes well with many dishes. For example, try smoked duck breast appetizers, turkey or beef schnitzel, pork steak or prosciutto.
