Faceted glass (Granjonij stakan)

Faceted glass is a symbol of the Soviet era. This time is behind us, but the glass is still in vogue and common in Russian kitchens. I think it is typically Russian glass. The exact origin of faceted glass is not known. The prevailing opinion is that faceted glass began being made in Russia during the Peter I era in the city of Gus-Crystal. Faceted glass doesn’t roll off the table if it falls over while pitching a ship.

Having faceted glass in the kitchen is very useful.
