Koncho & Co Aleksandrouli 2022

The Aleksandrouli is a typical Georgian grape. In this case, it is grown in the eastern province of Kakheti. Aleksandrouli mainly grows in the West. Winemaker Koncho pressed a dry red wine there. It is not typical, because Aleksandrouli is usually used for sweet wine.

It smells a bit licoricey. And like ripe black cherries. In the mouth, smooth cherry fruit and sweet stewed blackberries. Juicy and tasty with a pinch of residual sugar.
