RECOMMENDATIONS IN TRADITIONAL MEDICINE

Pine buds are used in medicine as an expectorant and disinfectant for the treatment of upper respiratory tract diseases. Typically, these remedies come in the form of decoctions for inhalation and infusions, which are recommended for internal use for bronchitis, pneumonia, duodenal ulcers, and stomach ulcers.

Decoctions of pine buds have a mild choleretic and diuretic effect. It should be noted that pine buds are often included in chest infusions, and their extract and infusion are used in coniferous baths, which have a calming effect on the nervous system.

The healing properties of bud decoctions are widely used for inhalations for nasal and throat conditions, and also help improve blood composition. Preparations containing pine buds have a bactericidal effect on the microflora of the nasopharynx and oral cavity.

Directions for preparation and use:

Pour 1 tablespoon of the mixture into a glass of hot boiled water. Cool, strain, and dilute the resulting infusion with boiled water to 200 ml. Take 1 tablespoon 3 times daily.
